PATHOLOGICALLY EXPLICIT (Spa) #1 (Newsletter) 2000

Year: 2000
Vote: 7
INTERVIEWS WITH: ANTROPOFAGUS, INHUMATE, SURGICAL DISSECTION, MORGUE, ABORTED. 7th CHILD, CEREBRAL EFFUSION, AFTER BLAST, 8 Xeroxed pages written in English

From an interview
with INHUMATE I seem to realize that the writer had a publication
called Disangelio before frankly the name comes as new as the
one of the newsletter… besides, Fernando author of this bulletin
is also playing in the Spanish Brutish act KEVLARSKIN, again an
odd name to my ears, which I hope to hear soon. In the time to
come it seems this newsletter is going to grow in a full fledged
fanzine, starting with ish two. Being a ‘zine writer myself I
am sympathetic to this publication because it is definitely young
and fresh, while lacking of identity, and abounding of ingenuity.
One thing I have come to understand is that even if you try hard
to articulate clever questions, some bands will always end up
answering with the most standard and shortest idiocies, that is,
the same bands that would probably spend hundred of words in better
known publications, like it has happened to me with NASUM in my
first release.
Just as a sample, I’ll cite the interview with ANTROPOFAGUS:
Q: "Give me your opinion about: IMPETIGO, CARCASS, MACABRE
and NATRON",
A: "Great bands".
Eh, Id like to shove this newsletter up the ass of every band
that has the courage to answers in this way. Back on us the newsletter
evolves about 98% on pretty standard and classic, but not idiotic,
interviews with some good Death/Gore/Grind bands, among which
stand out some names which effectively are "stuff ‘zines
should be made of". I am glad the man is into doing a publication
that is underground from the very start. The reviews are close
to nothing in both quantity and detail but what the hell would
you pretend from a free publication? One dollar to get one sample.
