No, no kidding, this is really one of the few masterpieces destined

to fuel a brand new breed of death metal for years ever since

its release in 1997. How many albums you can say that have REALLY

shaken you in the last years? How many albums like Altars of Madness

or World Downfall or Extreme Conditions demand Extreme Responses?

Well Black Force Domain is one of those pearls desined to fall

in my backpack if I ever had to flee this fucking city for a nuclear

conflict. Basically, there’s nothing new… bass/vocals, drums,

guitars. Nothing new except that everything is new, the way the

Death Metal is played is like nothing heard before, not even MORBID

ANGEL got this far. Every single elemnt that makes Death Metal

so different from the other genres, is pushed on adrenaline to

5 times faster, drum solos and hyperblasts to make your hair fall,

guitar solos so long and fast to make any guitarist sit down and

weep, basic, straight to the poing bestial lyrics, damn, this

album is a fucking bible of Death Metal. And it’s unrelenting,

savage, uncontrolled, bestial beyond any limit, the sound perfectly

neat without being synthetical, tight and fast, A-M-A-Z-I-N-G,

if you can buy one KRISIUN release, buy this one, this is CULT.

It took me one second to understand that INHUME makes me feel

in my element, This is exactly my cup of fucking blood. I want

THIS kind of Death metal OK? This is NOT grind for you dickheads

who don’t know the difference, this is DEATH METAL the way it

should be played. It has nothing to do with SUFFOCATION, it has

nothing to do with IMPETIGO, it has nothing to do with DEAD INFECTION.

This is just fucking INHUME, absurly savage Death Metal with a

double vocalist approach and yeah, both do the down tuned vocals

and maintain the shrieks on a second level (as it should always

be, screams are good for background reinforcement, not for 6 minutes

long songs). Lots of tracks start with the 3 drum beats and I

fucking love it, this music is a real mosnter, big, full bodied,

intense and compact like a 3 days old turd in your bowels, no

compromise, no fucking trippy games, INHUME strikes with hatchet

and maul with hammering devastating Gore/Death, a sort of Gore/Death

I am not even able to describe with words. It’s at the same time

ferociouslty savage and unhumanly tight, super gargling and yet

fast and feral, with bonecrushing almost Swedish guitar sound

and in your face drum rampage… with CENTURIAN and LAST DAYS

OF HUMANITY my fave band from Holland since PESTILENCE… ’nuff

said I hope.

Another Czech brutal grinding band, out now with their third destroying platter (if you consider also their split Cd with Czech Deflorace ). They propose 14 golden sharpen blade to dissect your body. Fast, intense and remarkable crazy drumming, is the fitted carpet for an extensive use of massive steroidal savagery guitars: The fight starts with a melodic futuristic intro, and then their speed adrenalinaze your pulped minds with underpressure reflux of blood. All lyrics are written by “Chymus” (Isaacarum bitchbrigade former member ) and concerns some interestings aspects of human life in a technologically future where is no escape. The cover artwork is an explicit reference to the inner concept expressed also by the title-track. “Suicide yourself reflecting on Ingrowing !”

This is it. The greatest example of Horror/Gore/Splatter/Death

of all time, the absolute swansong of the genre from a band like

there would never be again. It’s useless to talk about it, this

CD is pure art, the absolute perfection, every single detail comes

from the highest example of Italian Cannibal/Horror cinema, black

and white cheezy b-movies, monsters and zombies. This is also

the first press of the CD, a Cd that has changed the scene of

Death/Splatter/Gore forever. It’s an hard choice to decide which

is the best Horror flick of all time, but there’s no doubt this

CD is the best soundtrack for it. Every time I read, listen, smell

it I find another detail, another twist in the lyrics, in the

music… just like when you read the greatest classical books…

no need to indulge in oversemplifications: this album is not only

masterpiece, it’s one of the 10 best albums EVER, all musical

genres included (and many would object it’s the first of the 10).

For those unlucky enough to have missed Wild Rags’ version of

this CD back in 1992 this is the re-release of the most important

splattercore band that has ever existed. I honestly think that

the music contained in this disc is so fantastic, original and

intense that it could surely be defined among the 10 best albums

of ALL musical genres. No kidding, if you are not able to grasp

the brilliance in this CD then you probably should take another

path than Grind/Gore. This is a release which has a fuller sound

compared to the previous “Ultimo Mondo Cannibale”, the

songs have a more definite structure and they left some of the

filth behind leaving bare boned the essence of the band, a sum

of the chilling, post-modern culture which permeates any Horror

movie fan. Tons of intros are used throughout and the quotes of

famous b-movies (especially the Italian panorama hell yeah) glue

the whole cannibal music with a spirit that tastes of other days

long gone. Not only Death Metal, not only grind, IMPETIGO had

the strong, emotional structure of old school core bands such

as CRUMBSUCKERS, NEGATIVE APPROACH or REPULSION, taken to new

height with a personality which only few have hoped to challenge

(GUT spring to mind at this point). Every song is a sweet, delicious

sample of high class bad taste, each perfectly identifiable by

a loose punkish picking and the characteristic phlegmy vocals

of the well known Stevo (greatest Death growler of all time with

AUTOPSY’s Chris). I am not sure I have been thoroughly clear but

if you miss this, you don’t deserve to live. The new packaging

features a delicious zombie cover in a bath of guts and entrails,

by the hand of Chas Balun itself (famous horror artist, who also

did much NECROPHAGIA work) and contains some never seen before

pictures. Good level re-release.

First full length album from the greatest Horror band of all times.

Originally released 10 years before on Wild Rags! this re-issue

on Morbid features, contrarily to the Horror of the Zombie, exactly

the same artwork, cover and inner sleeve as the original. No additional

tracks, re-mastering or bonus CD-ROM shit to distinguish from

the original LP but hell, this is finally on CD and can be listened

without risking to scratch or wear the vinyl. The sound is fucking

crude and the songs a bit less varied then on the second CD and

still display a backbone of humour (songs like “Jane Fonda

Sucks”, “Dear Uncle Creepy” and “Revenge of

the Scabby Man” have more of a comic strip based feeling

than B Italian Horror movies IMHO). In the whole disc there is

still much punk/core influence such as NAPALM DEATH’s “Scum”

or other primitive grind core bands from bid 80’s. Yet there are

lots of great intros and samples from great movies like “Zombie”,

“Gates of Hell” or “Wizards of Gore”, and

songs which shall be remembered for ages. Still one step from

the complete perfection of “Horror of the Zombies” but

a fucking masterpiece nonetheless. Pure art grown on festering

flesh.
