LIVE EXTREME METAL EVENTS

NUCLEAR ABOMINATIONS FEST

Nuclear Abominations Fest was a one-off event held in 2020 under the Nuclear Abominations banner. It was conceived as a special celebration of twenty years of the label, and it is distinct both from the regular horror-cineclub activity of Gli Schizzacervelli and from Spasmo Fest.

THE 2020 EVENT

These events grow directly out of Nuclear Abominations as a fanzine and label: live extreme metal, underground culture and the same uncompromising aesthetic that has defined Nuclear Abominations since 1995.

They are not Gli Schizzacervelli events. Gli Schizzacervelli is a separate horror cine club whose programme consists of monthly screenings and the annual Spasmo Fest.

Nuclear Abominations Fest I

In January 2021 the first, and so far only, Nuclear Abominations fest was held. A concert organized together with Tormenting Steel promotion to celebrate the 20 years of Nuclear Abominations as a label. It was a night of splatter and extreme metal, with film screenings by Spasmo Video and a magnificent selection by Alex Visani.
