Spasmo Fest returns on Halloween night. On Saturday, October 31, 2026, Alex Visani brings the Modena edition of Spasmo Fest to La Grotta in Piumazzo, in collaboration with Gli Schizzacervelli, the horror cineclub organized by Michele Toscan and Simone Cristoni. At the heart of the night is the Spasmo Fest horror-film contest, developed throughout the year under Alex Visani’s direction and brought before the audience here through a dedicated selection and awards celebration. Roughly 40-minute death metal live sets will alternate with some of the most extreme shorts chosen especially by Alex for the Modena Halloween edition.
The programme combines four live sets — Dominance, Bastard Saints, Hateful and A Place for Murder — with a selection of extreme horror short films screened throughout the night and a final award. Doors open at 17:00, the programme runs from 18:00 to 02:00, and entry is free.
